While Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham giving an ultimatum to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that the AP government should pass the resolution on Kapu reservations by this August, TDP MLC Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy criticised the move.

Reacting strongly against the Kapu leader for troubling the TDP government by joining hands with Congress and YSRCP, Somireddy reminded that Rs.1000 crore was allotted by the government that also formed the Kapu corporation and is further taking several steps for the welfare of Kapu community.

He also questioned whether Mudragada is not aware of Congress not fulfilling the promises made in 2004 election manifesto over the reservations to Kapu community.
