YSRCP brings in surprise nomination for Rajya Sabha seat

YSRCP, that has lost several MLAs to the ruling TDP is looking to secure one seat in the Rajya Sabha, but has filed three nominations in all.

While two YSRCP nominations were filed by its candidate, Vijay Sai Reddy, his wife Sunanda Reddy filed her nomination this afternoon making it the third for the party.

However, sources in the party insisted that Sunanda will be in as a mere representation so that if Vijay Sai Reddy's papers get rejected, hers would automatically become the official nomination.
