Improve the image of dept, Director General of Police tells cops
Director General of Police Jasti Venkata Ramudu made a whirlwind tour of the district on Tuesday and took part in various events held at Kalyandurg, Gudibanda, and Hindupur. He inaugurated a police reception centre at Kalyandurg followed by an unveiling of Martyrs Memorial Stupa and new police station building at Gudibanda and police guest house at Hindupur.
Anantapur: Director General of Police Jasti Venkata Ramudu made a whirlwind tour of the district on Tuesday and took part in various events held at Kalyandurg, Gudibanda, and Hindupur. He inaugurated a police reception centre at Kalyandurg followed by an unveiling of Martyrs Memorial Stupa and new police station building at Gudibanda and police guest house at Hindupur.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramudu asked the police personnel to work hard to improve the image of the police and serve public effectively. Stating that the people’s faith in the police should not be married, he directed the police personnel to make sure that justice is done to those who are approaching the police. He instructed the police to use technology to control crime. The DGP appealed to the general public to extend cooperation to the police in the maintenance of law and order.
