Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu, who had filed nomination for the Rajya Sabha seat from the State, is scheduled to make his maiden visit to the capital, Amaravati, on June 4. He will call on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and BJP leaders in Vijayawada on Saturday. 

Vijayawada: Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu, who had filed nomination for the Rajya Sabha seat from the State, is scheduled to make his maiden visit to the capital, Amaravati, on June 4. He will call on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and BJP leaders in Vijayawada on Saturday.

The Minister would arrive in Hyderabad on June 3 and receive his election certificate from the Assembly. Along with the Minister for Health Dr Kamineni Srinivas, the Union Minister would fly to Renigunta on the same day evening and stay at Tirupati for the night.

On June 4 morning, the Union Minister would visit Tirumala and offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Later, the Minister would take a flight to Vijayawada from Renigunta and reach the city by afternoon. He would proceed to the Chief Minister’s camp office and meet Chandrababu Naidu.

After the meeting with the Chief Minister, the Union Minister would proceed to the BJP office where he would have an introductory meeting with the party leaders and cadre. On the same evening, Suresh Prabhu would leave for Delhi from Gannavaram airport.
