Addressing a public meeting in Yadiki village on Friday, Jagan accused Naidu of being indifferent to suicides. “It was the Chief Minister, who triggered the suicides as the indebted farmer could not see light at the end of the tunnel,” he charged and lashed out at Naidu for suppressing the voice of opposition and mortgaging State’s interests to protect his political interests.

Jagan tried to drive home the point that Naidu was well aware that he cannot fulfil the promises of loan waiver but told lies just to capture power.

He asked the youth, whether any one of them got jobs or even the unemployment dole, which was promised, to which the venue reverberated with the answer of ‘no’. Alleging that Rs 600 crore was spent to buy YSRCP MLAs, Jagan asked the Chief Minister to divulge the source of funds.

YSRCP chief, who is in his fifth leg of his Rythu Bharosa Yatra in the district, attracted fairly large crowds at every village he passed. He addressed several road shows at Pedavaduguru, Tadipatri, Medimakilapalle, Lakshampalle, Muppalagutti and Burnakunta villages.
