AP Govt restricts land registrations in Amaravati
The State government imposed restrictions on land registrations in 29-villages in the capital and issued orders to this effect. The CRDA has taken steps to distribute plots to the farmers who gave their lands for the construction of capital under the Land Pooling System.

Taking this process into consideration, the government imposed restrictions on purchase and sale of land in the capital. If anyone wants to sell his land in the capital, he must take `No Objection Certificate’ from the revenue officials before fixing the deal. The restrictions will be in force till the plots distribution process is completed in the capital.
The government has already written letters to the registration department officials. Thullur tahsildar Anne Sudhir Babu said “ The government imposed restrictions on plot registrations, taking plots distribution into consideration. With proper permission from the officials, the land owners can sell their lands. If the revenue officials issue NOC, then registrar will do the needful.”
