Amaravati: Tsundur Rahul has secured All-India 15th rank in open category in the JEE Advanced -2016 examination held in May 22 in the results announced on Sunday. Speaking to The Hans India, Rahul, who intends to join Computer Science in IIT Mumbai, said he wanted to become an IAS officer. He said he did hard work to get the top rank in the examination. His father Srinivasa Rao was a DSP in Guntur.

His mother Rohinidevi was a housewife. He attributed this credit to his parents who encouraged him to get the top rank and Bhashyam College management. Another student from Guntur Kalluri Hari Prasad got the first rank in the JEE advanced -2016 examination in the reserved (physically challenged) category. He said he would join Computer Science. He said his father Srinivasa Rao was a school teacher and mother Krishna Veni a housewife. He attributed his credit to his parents.
