Hyderabad: The four-day protest of Telangana Class IV employees working in Andhra Pradesh Secretariat has come to an end on Monday as both governments have signaled that they would be repatriated to Telangana on the condition that they would join duties where ever they are given posting.

There are nearly 253 employees belonging to Telangana serving in Andhra Pradesh Secretariat. They were assured to be taken by the TS government earlier, but there was no movement. This has resulted in the TS employees resorting to protest to press their demand.

The Telangana government has conveyed to its AP counterpart that it would take the TS employees working in AP. Following this, AP has approved a file related to this and the same has been sent to the TS.

Once Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao approves the file then the AP would relieve the TS employees, according to the striking employees. The TS government is willing to take back these employees asking them to tender an affidavit expressing their willingness to work in any part of Telangana state.
