DGP presents cash awards medals to sportspersons

Vijayawada: Director General of Police JV Ramudu has presented medals and cash awards to winners of All India Police Sports Meet.
Presenting the medals at DGP office in Vijayawada on Monday, the DGP asked the players to improve their talents to emerge as international players.
The policemen won medals in commando duty meet, rifle shooting, boxing and computer programmes at the All India police sports meet.
The DGP congratulated Anjali and Lavanya who won bronze medals in inter-State challenger roving championship held at Chennai on June 11. The sportsmen appealed to DGP to provide an opportunity to encourage the sportsmen in police department.
Additional DGP NV Surender Babu, Commissioner of Police Gowtam Sawang and Sports IGP RK Meena were present.
