YSRCP official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu on Tuesday met state chief electoral officer Bhanwarlal and submitted a memorandum.

Ambati Rambabu alleged that Kodela Siva Prasada Rao indulged in malpractices and even admitted to spending Rs.11.50 crore in the 2014 assembly elections which are 40 times more than the required limit violating the rules of the election commission.

The YSRCP leader stated that the Assembly speaker had admitted to spending the money during a programme on a Telugu television channel. Ambati Rambabu who lost the elections by a margin of 924 votes said that Kodela resorted to corrupt practices.
