Patient dies due to unavailability of doctors

​Nellore: Tense situation prevailed at government hospital here on Friday when relatives of a patient staged a protest alleging that the patient died due to unavailability of doctors.
The victim Khuddus, 18, of Mulapet area, sustained injuries at Venkatachalam, while he tried to overtake an auto with his bike. He was admitted to a government hospital in Nellore.
Since, no doctor was available at the hospital, an attender treated the patient. The news of Khuddus succumbing to injuries infuriated the relatives, who staged a protest demonstration at the hospital.
