Officials told to expedite pushkar ghat works
Collector Challa Vijay Mohan ordered the officers to expedite the pushkar ghat construction works. He visited Sangameshwaram at Kothapalli and inspected the pushkar ghat works. He directed the officials to complete the ghat works within a stipulated time by deploying more workers.

He told the officials to take up the levelling works at the hillock area from next Wednesday and allot the place for dressing room, food park and parking zone for the VIPs. He further stated that he will inspect the works during his next visit.
He stated to make arrangements for parking lot to RTC buses, relaxing lounge for devotees, arrangement of toilets and clock rooms within a radius of one kilometre from pushkar ghat.
He told the officials to maintain quality in the road works as the Chief Minister will be monitoring them and ordered the R&B superintending engineer to complete the road works from Kothapalli to Sangameshwaram.
Vijay Mohan urged the officials to complete all the works by end of this month as Sangameshwaram is a confluence of seven rivers and it is proposed to make a tourist spot by the Chief Minister. Later, he inspected the R&B works being taken up from Nandikotkur to Nandyal.
Revenue Divisional Officer L Raghubabu, irrigation superintending engineer, panchyat raj superintending engineer, RWS superintending engineer and endowment officer accompanied the Collector.
