Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party State president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao said that they will train the party leaders and cadre to campaign about the welfare schemes implemented by the government.

I have taken inputs from the MLAs who successfully implemented the welfare schemes in their constituencies and explain the same to the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Training will be given to MLAs, MPs, Ministers, State committee members and district presidents to strengthen the party from the grass roots level, he said.

Addressing mediapersons after the co-ordination committee meeting, at TDP State office in Guntur on Tuesday, Venkata Rao said that the aim of the government was to deliver benefits of the welfare schemes to the eligible.

I will conduct more meetings with the MLAs, MPs, and Ministers in the days to come. We will look to campaign about the welfare schemes taken up by the government,” he informed.

He said that the aim of the Smart Pulse Survey is to extend benefits of welfare schemes to all eligible. Chief whip Kalva Srinivas said that they will organise meetings with mandal party presidents, agriculture marketing committees, sarpanches and villages level committees.

If we manage to impart training to at least 25,000, they will explain welfare schemes implemented by the government to all the people in the villages,” he added.

MP K Rammohan Naidu said that they would discuss on the private bill moved by MP KVP Ramachandra Rao in the TDP Parliament Board meeting to be chaired by the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on July 15.

TDP is committed for special status but we have to discuss intention of the Congress leader in introducing a private bill. CM will take a decision on the bill in the meeting,” he added.

The MP expressed confidence that Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will cooperate to get a separate Railway Zone to the State. “We will have clarity on the increase in Assembly seats in the Parliament session,” he added.
