Special prayers were offered according to Agama shastras to the Goddess as part of Shakambari festival. The devotees were allowed for darshan at 10 am after performing Mangala Harathi given to presiding deities in the early hours. Officials made elaborate arrangements for convenience of devotees.
Kurnool: On the occasion of Ashada Pournami, Shakambari festival organised at Srisailam temple on Tuesday. The Goddess Bhramaramba Devi besides the Dhwaja stambhams and Narasimha Mandapam were decorated with various vegetables, fruits and green leaves.
