TDP alliance with BJP to continue

Following the drama that ensued after the Centre denying the special status for Andhra Pradesh during a Rajya Sabha discussion last week, TD Union ministers, Sujana Chowdary and Ashok Gajapati Raju will be continuing their stint in the NDA Cabinet.

When quizzed on the reports about their resignation, Sujana Chowdary denied the reports, saying they had not offered to resign and the subject came up during discussions when some MPs suggested dharnas to stall Parliament proceedings which could only be done after resigning from the Cabinet and coming out of the alliance.

This further indicates that the TD’s alliance with the BJP will continue.
