Arun Jaitley stalls the special status issue once again
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley rushed to Lok Sabha on Tuesday following the repeated adjournments over the demand of Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh wherein he assured the leaders that the issues of the state are being dealt.

Stating that he had spoken to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in this regard, Jaitley said he would continue further discussions on the issue adding that everything mentioned in the Reorganisation Act would be implemented but would need time.
However, his response didn't satisfy TDP MP Galla Jayadev who pointed out that nothing has come forth in terms of implementation from the Centre even after two years.
The Finance Minister responded by saying that the government has realized the members' anguish over the special status category and the matter was being discussed with the Chief Minister.
