Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala cadets excel at NCC camp
According to a press release issued by college principal T Vijayalakshmi here on Thursday, NCC cadets of SDMSMK were selected for the guard of honour. The SDMSMK cadets stood first in drill and second in throwball events. In cultural competitions, the college NCC cadets won first prize in group dance and second prize in solo event.
Vijayawada: NCC cadets of Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (SDMSMK) excelled at the ATC-III camp organised by 4 (A) Girls Battalion at the agricultural market yard in Nuzvid of Krishna district from July 21 to 30.

In the group singing contest, they got second prize. Four NCC cadets of the college were appointed as safety guards. The NCC cadets also participated in Swachh Bharat and other service activities.
Camp Commanding Officer Lt Col Maneesh Rai and AO Capt G Malathi distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions. College principal and NCC ANO Lt PV Durgavathi congratulated the cadets for their excellent performance.
