Assuring the students and the youth that special status category would be a reality sooner than later, YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed concern over the plight of unemployed in the state and called for them to fight for the cause as jobs can't be created unless they achieve Special Category Status.

Speaking at the gathering of Yuvabheri programme in Nellore on Thursday, YS Jagan said YSRCP will continue pressurizing the Centre on Special Status and won't rest until it happens.

Lashing out Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his false promises, the YSRCP Chief questioned the TDP election campaign where they promised one job per family once Chandrababu comes to power but now, people are losing jobs and 1.42 lakh vacancies are in the state. He called upon the youth to unite together and demand implementation of all the assurances made by Chandrababu during the election campaign.

Highlighting the importance, he asserted that new jobs only can be generated when AP achieves the special status, further elaborating that 11 states have special status in the country and they get all the incentives enabling them to attract business investments.
