Free mega health camp organised at Burripalem
A team of cardiologists of Andhra Hospitals and Healing Little Hearts examined 325 adults and children of the village at the health camp. Vijayawada: Film star Mahesh Babu in association with Andhra Hospitals and Healing Little Hearts of the UK, organised a free mega adult and child cardiology health camp in his adopted village Burripalem on Tuesday to mark his birthday.
A team of cardiologists of Andhra Hospitals and Healing Little Hearts examined 325 adults and children of the village at the health camp. The team included Dr PV Rama Rao, chief of children services and director of Andhra Hospitals, Dr Srinivas Reddy, Dr Ramesh, Dr Kamal Rajesh, Dr Bhoojata, Dr Shipra, Dr Vikram, Dr Manijuana, Dr Julia and Dr Rachel.
All the heart screening tests were conducted free of cost. Medicines were also distributed to patients. It may be recalled that Mahesh Babu proposed to develop Burripalem as a model health village in Andhra Pradesh in association with Andhra Hospitals.
