Hyderabad: The III Additional Junior Civil Judge Court of Nellore has been designated as the court to conduct trials in cases related to the regulation of fishing by foreign vessels in Indian Maritime Zone.
A government order on Monday confirmed the powers under 19(2) and 20 of the Maritime Zone of India (Regulation of fishing by Foreign Vessels) Act 1981.
Following this, trials related to foreign vessels entering into Indian waters for fishing within the Nellore, Prakasam and Guntur districts would be tried at the designated court, it added.
