Hassle-free darshan at temple replica
Speaking to newsmen at the temple replica on the eve of commencement of Krishna Pushkaralu, the TTD chairman said foolproof measures were taken up to ensure hassle-free darshan of the Lord.
Vijayawada: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has made elaborate arrangements at the replica of Sri Venkateswara temple of Tirumala set up at PWD grounds in the city to meet the pilgrim rush during the Krishna Pushkaralu, said TTD Chairman Chadalavada Krishnamurthy.
Speaking to newsmen at the temple replica on the eve of commencement of Krishna Pushkaralu, the TTD chairman said foolproof measures were taken up to ensure hassle-free darshan of the Lord.
Daily rituals would be performed at the temple replica as per Agama Shastra. Anna prasadam would be served to thousands of pilgrims a day during the river festival.
A religious procession would be taken out from the temple replica to the Pushkar Ghat every day evening and Pushkar Aarati would be offered to the River Goddess. It is a symbolic gesture of conveying the blessings of Lord Venkateswara to Goddess Krishnaveni, the TTD Chairman said.
