Traffic snarls are common at Vijay Talkies junction, Seetarampuram junction, Apsara theatre junction and Challapalli bungalow junction. The traffic signals have been out of order since one year.

Traffic department officials submitted representations twice to the municipal commissioner during the past six months requesting the latter to immediately repair the traffic signals.
