Venkata Ramana Sastray said that the yagam is being conducted for 12 days during the Pushkaralu for well-being of people. The Vedic scholars said that they would offer special prayers to Lord Siva and Parvati, Lord Lakshminarayana on the occasion.
Vijayawada: Villagers and devotees of Vallabhapuram village in Kollipara mandal of Guntur district performed Sata Chandi Yagam on Saturday. Astrologer Venu Swamy, Vedic scholars led by Kotturu Venkata Ramana Sastry performed the yagam at the local Sivalayam.
