Organ donation will give new lease of life: Minister Kamineni Srinivas
He called upon the members of voluntary organisations and public to come forward for encouraging organ donation. He complimented the Pinnacle Hospital management for taking the initiative.
Visakhapatnam: Organ donation will give a new lease of life to those who are suffering from ailments, said Medical and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas.Prior to the flagging off the awareness rally on organ donation organised jointly by Pinnacle Hosital, Abhayam Kidney Care Centre and Jeevan Daan organisation here on the R K Beach Road on Saturday, the Minister emphasised the need to create awareness about organ donation.
He called upon the members of voluntary organisations and public to come forward for encouraging organ donation. He complimented the Pinnacle Hospital management for taking the initiative.
BJP MP K Hari Babu said if the family members of a brain dead person donate organs it will benefit those people who are in dire need of organs. ENC Chief Vice-Admiral H C S Bisht, Collector Praveen Kumar, Port Chairman M T Krishna Babu, Andhra University Vice Chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao, Pinnacle Hospital Chairman R Kishore, Star Hospital MD M Gopi, Symbiosis CEO O Naresh Kumar, CMR Group Chairman Mavooru Venkata Ramana and others participated in the rally.
