We conducted three lakh cataract operations and provided medical treatment to more than a million people through TSR Seva Peetham, by spending our money. We have been providing services in about 650 slums in the city. I would continue the services without any hindrance in future too,” Reddy added.
Visakhapatnam: Rajya Sabha MP Dr T Subbarami Reddy said social service is the only way to win the hearts of the people.Speaking on the occasion of 20th anniversary celebrations of TSR Seva Peetham at the Convocation Hall of Andhra University.
here on Sunday, Dr Reddy said he had been extending social services to the poor of Vizag for the past two decades, including organising medical camps, operating cataract patients, supplying free medicines and providing infrastructure to the government hospitals and schools.

Dr Reddy felicitated four doctors Dr G Arjuna, Dr C M A Zaheer Ahmed, Dr B Ashalatha and Dr KSN Murthy with TSR Awards for their service to the people. Cultural programmes enthralled the gathering.
Head of the Sri Viswa Vignana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham Dr Umar Alisha said that the highest objective of life could be realised by acquiring spiritual knowledge and rendering social service. Subbarami Reddy is always a pioneer in these two aspects, Dr Alisha added.
Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao said that Dr Reddy is contributing to the welfare of all sections of the society irrespective of parties and agendas.
