Srisailam (Kurnool): Collector Ch Vijay Mohan inspected Pathala Ganga and Lingalagattu ghats on Tuesday and enquired the pilgrims on the arrangements for Krishna Pushkaralu. On getting a good feedback from pilgrims on arrangements, the Collector expressed his happiness over the smooth conduct of the river festival.

Earlier, the Collector ensured storage of adequate water in Srisailam reservoir for generation of hydel power. He personally oversaw the cleaning of Lingalagattu ghat by staying put at the place till the early hours of the day.

He instructed the officials to focus on further improvement of amenities at Lingalagattu ghat keeping in view the increase in pilgrim rush.
