50 lakh food packets distributed

Vijayawada: Minister for Information and Public Relations Palle Raghunatha Reddy said the government had distributed 56,80,096 food packets in the Krishna, Guntur and Kurnool districts from August 12.
In a release on Friday, the Minister said 8,84,770 food packets were provided on Friday alone, and apart from this, many voluntary organisations and individuals also distributed food to pilgrims.
Raghunatha Reddy also said that the government had distributed 33,44,064 water packets and it was 3,98,584 on Friday. Of which, 2.37 lakh were distributed in Krishna district, 1.05 lakh in Guntur district and 56,300 in Kurnool district.
