The TTD chairman and the EO presented prasadams and lamination photo of the Lord to the Sri Lankan President at Ranganayaka Mandapam. Earlier, Sirisena along with his family members took part in Suprabhatha Seva in the early hours of Sunday.  Forests and Environments Minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, TTD Trust Board member G Bhanuprakash Reddy  and others were present. 

Tirumala: President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena accompanied by his wife Jayanthi Pushpa Kumari and son Daham Sirisena offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Sunday morning. On his arrival at the temple, he was accorded warm welcome by TTD chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tirupati JEO Pola Bhaskar. After having darshan of the Lord, the President was given holy water ‘Theertham’ and was extended Satari honours in the Sannidhi.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan President was made to wait in the car for about 10 minutes as the driver of the vehicle went inside the temple for darshan of the Lord on Sunday. Sirisena, along with his family members arrived at the temple at about 2.15 am to participate in the Suprabatha Seva. He came out after Suprabatham around 3.30 am and straight away went to the VVIP car parking near Vahana Mandapam and sat in the car.
