Eluru: The World Folk Day celebrations were held at The Young Men’s Hindu Association (YMHA) hall in the city on Saturday evening.
Various art forms like Folk, Budabukkala, Garaga Nruthyam, Kolatam, Kanjari and Burra Katha were displayed in the celebrations held under the aegis of Andhra Pradesh Language and Cultural affairs and Andhra Pradesh Folk artists Association (Vijayawada) and enthralled the audience.
Association president Godu Appala Naidu, secretary LR Krishna Babu, Abhinaya Nritya Bharathi president Duvvi Ramarao, secretary D Hemasundar, international sculptor Devikarani Udayar and others participated in the event.
