Vijayawada: RTC buses were jam packed with huge influx of devotees taking part in Pushkaralu on Sunday. About 6,96,661 pilgrims travelled by RTC buses in Krishna, Guntur and Kurnool districts till 6 pm. According to RTC officials, the State owned corporation operated 3,223 free buses in Krishna district, in which 2,08,357 pilgrims travelled.

Besides, Indian railways operated 179 special trains on Sunday. About 8,20,901 pilgrims came to Vijayawada by the special trains till 6pm.The trains which came from Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam were fully crowded.
