Amaravati:Minister for Civil Supplies Paritala Sunitha on Sunday visited Seethanagaram and Venkatapalem ghats in Guntur district and interacted with pilgrims to inquire about arrangements. Speaking on this occasion, she said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had put in hard work during the last three months to ensure successful conduct of Krishna Pushkaralu.

She said that the district administration made elaborate arrangements for the sake of pilgrims. She pointed out that the officials have already set up changing rooms for women at ghats. Medical camps have also been organised.

Buses are being operated up to various ghats. She said that the NGOs arranged free meals facility. They were also distributing free buttermilk packets. She urged pilgrims to avail themselves of the facilities provided by the NGOs. She tasted the meals provided by Akshaya Patra.

The Minister interacted with pilgrims and sought their opinion about Krishna Pushkaralu. The pilgrims expressed satisfaction over arrangements. Later, she went to police control room and visited the health camp.The Minister was accompanied by TDP leader G Chiranjeevi and DWAMA Project Director P Srinivasulu.
