Minister distributes food packets to 8,000 pilgrims

Anantapur: Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha has distributed food packets to pilgrims of Krishna Pushkaralu at Jeedipalle reservoir in the district on Tuesday.

Krishna river water is supplied to Jeedipalle reservoir in the district. Therefore, hundreds of pilgrims, who could not make it to Krishna Pushkaralu in Vijayawada, have visited the Jeedipalle reservoir in the district and took holy dip.

The Minister distributed food packets to 8,000 pilgrims and also had a holy dip at the reservoir. The Dal Millers Association also distributed food packets to 10,000 devotees. The district administration made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims at the reservoir.
