Freshers Day at GITAM
Senior students who are presently heading the GUSAC acted as organisers and briefed how the technical platforms are helping them to succeed in their career. The film on GUSAC and GITAM cultural club Kalakruthi received thunderous applause during the celebrations.
Visakhapatnam: GITAM University Science Activity Centre (GUSAC) celebrated its 5th anniversary as well as Freshers’ Day in a patriotic fervour Yaadkaro Qurbani” on the campus here on Tuesday.
Senior students who are presently heading the GUSAC acted as organisers and briefed how the technical platforms are helping them to succeed in their career. The film on GUSAC and GITAM cultural club Kalakruthi received thunderous applause during the celebrations.
The event also saw the launch of various sub-organisations of GUSAC such as GCIED (GITAM Centre for Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development) which is the hub of budding startups and innovation in GITAM University.
To encourage the young writers in the university, the GUSAC team created a new platform in the name of GITAM Writers’ Club and G-studio to encourage the photography talent.
As part of celebrations, the seniors performed various cultural events to attract the juniors. The student teams performed stunning cultural activities including skits and mime. The university once again glittered with the young talents on Tuesday evening with stunning performances of the senior and junior students.
