Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu will lay foundation stone for construction of Bharat Electrical Limited (BEL) plant in Pamarru mandal of Krishna district.
The plant to be constructed with a cost of Rs 300 crore and will manufacture advanced night vision products.
The district collector Babu A on Thursday held discussions with the Telugu Desam leaders and the district officials over the arrangements being made for foundation laying programme.
He asked the officials to set up helipad at Nimmakuru village of Pamarru mandal for landing of chopper.Later, the duo will lay foundation stone for Kolletikota bridge on Kolleru lake. The bridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs13 crore to promote tourism in Kolleru lake.
