When a person went to answer nature’s call around 12 noon in bushes near Reliance cell tower, the leopard attacked him. He managed to give it a slip and complained about it to the police.

Soon people gathered in large numbers and started making sounds. When the confused leopard ran helter-skelter, the people lived in the grip of fear for some time.

It quickly climbed up a tree near the Mee Seva centre and stayed there for about 20 minutes as it found no escape route from the town. At last, Kalyandurg forest range officer Tirupatayya along with his personnel succeeded in nabbing the leopard.
