Shifting of depts resumes
Following it, Human Resources Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao would be entering into his newly-spruced up Peshi at Velagapudi on Saturday morning. Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa who is holding portfolios of Home and Disaster Management would be shifting on August 29.
Hyderabad: After a brief lull, State government has resumed shifting of offices of key departments which were functioning at Hyderabad to temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi on Friday. The Finance, Planning and Legislative Affairs Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu vacated his Peshi on Friday Packing and shifting of two truckloads of furniture and files took place on Friday.
Following it, Human Resources Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao would be entering into his newly-spruced up Peshi at Velagapudi on Saturday morning. Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa who is holding portfolios of Home and Disaster Management would be shifting on August 29.
According to general administration department sources, half of the ministries would be vacating their Peshi’s by the end of August. Due to alterations being made to some of the Minister’s Peshi’s at Velagapudi, departments of Housing, Health, Panchayat Raj, Civil Supplies, Labour, Youth and Sports would be shifted as and when their space get ready for occupation.
