Kurnool: The Superintendent of Police Ake Ravi Krishna distributed cheques to the retired police personnel at command control room here on Friday. He also handed over cheques to cops, who have opted for Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS).

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Krishna said that every serving employee has to retire from services. He stated that retiring from the Police department without allegations is an achievement.

The SP handed over a cheque of Rs 62,074 to Armed Reserve constable Nagaraju and Rs 59,854 to constable Chandrashekar. Later, he assured them of providing support in case of any need. The Vigilance and Enforcement Regional Officer S Babu Rao and clerk G Mohammad Ali were present.
