Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president N Raghuveera Reddy accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of mortgaging State’s interests to KCR, fearing arrest in ‘Cash for Vote’ case.

Addressing a news conference, here on Tuesday, the APCC president lamented that the ACB court’s directive to reinvestigate the case will dent the image of the State. “If the Chief Minister is not guilty, he should have asked the court to make the report public,” he averred.

Lambasting Naidu for his silence over Telangana government’s projects on River Krishna, Raghuveera found fault with the TDP government for their lack of reaction to pact between Maharashtra and Telangana with regard to Krishna waters.

Dubbing Telangana Chief Minister KCR as a blackmailer, the APCC president accused him of accruing benefits to his State at the expense of Andhra Pradesh.

He termed TRS, TDP and BJP as broker agencies. “Congress will never consider them as political parties,” he quipped. He demanded Naidu to make the ACB report public.PCC general secretary Dronamraju Srinivas, city president Behara Bhaskara Rao, city mahila president Pedada Ramani Kumari and Gunturu Bharati were also present.
