The VC told the meeting that the entrance test would be held in 100 centres spread over in six regions-Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram, Guntur, Anantapur, Nellore and Tirupati. “The test will be conducted in 31 subjects. A total of 56,429 candidates will be appearing for the test,” he added. 

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University will conduct APCET, the State-level common entrance test for the recruitment of teachers in universities, degree and junior colleges on September 11, informed Vice-Chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao at the regional coordinators’ meeting held here on Wednesday.

Rector Prof. E A Narayana, APCET advisor Rajeswara Reddy, APCET member secretary K Srinivasa Rao, members Venkata Subbaiah, G M J Raju, regional coordinators Y Venkateswara Rao, T Suraiah, K Chandan, M Chandraiah, K Bhaskar and G Padmanabhaiah were present at the meeting.
