Will save crops in every acre: K E Krishna Murthy

Kurnool: Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy said that government would save crops in every acre. He along with Ministers K Atchannaidu and Prathipati Pulla Rao kicked of wetting of crops by rain guns at Dudekonda village under Pathikonda Assembly constituency on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, he assured the farmers that power would be supplied round the clock besides arranging water through water tankers.Minister Atchannaidu said that no government other than the TDP strived for the welfare of the farmers.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is restlessly touring the Rayalaseema region and gathering minute to minute information from the officers about the condition of crops. Thankfully, rain god lashed the district with plenty of rains. Last night rains brought cheers to farmers,” he said. He urged the farmers to utilise rain guns.

We have passed orders to the district officials to distribute the rain guns wherever it is needed. If we overcome the dire situation this year, by next year the Handri-Neeva would cater the needs of this region and every acre of land will get water,” he asserted.Prathipati Pulla Rao reiterated that the rain guns would be a great support to the farmers.
