Devotees escape with injuries in road mishap; car driver rescued

Tirupati: Two devotees from Nellore had a miraculous escape, when the car in which they were travelling met with an accident, near Srivaripadalu in Tirumala hills on Wednesday.According to information, the vehicle lost control and role down into a ditch and stuck down on the roadside after hitting the protection wall.

The two devotees, who escaped with minor injuries, managed to come out of the car but the driver was struck in the vehicle for about half-an-hour, till he was rescued by the police and TTD, who retrieved him along with the vehicle using a crane. The driver also not hurt in the mishap.
