Addressing the girl students and women scholars, TTD All Projects Special Officer N Muktheswara Rao said that seminars would be useful for enlightening students about the principles and ethics of Hindu Sanatana Dharma for sustaining the legacy of India’s rich heritage and culture.

Tirupati: In a rare fete, the 64-year-old TTD-run Sri Padmavathi Women’s Degree and PG (SPWDPG) College here organised a 12-hour non-stop national seminar in ‘Sri Vaishnava Bhakti Tatvam’ on Wednesday.The fete jointly organised by the SPWDPG College and Alwar Divya Prabandha Project of TTD as a part of the year-long Sri Ramanujacharya Millennium celebrations by the TTD.

Addressing the girl students and women scholars, TTD All Projects Special Officer N Muktheswara Rao said that seminars would be useful for enlightening students about the principles and ethics of Hindu Sanatana Dharma for sustaining the legacy of India’s rich heritage and culture.

Several speakers also spoke about the importance of the festival and also the contribution of Sri Ramanuja for promotion of spiritualism. They called upon the students to acquire the knowledge in the epics and on great personalities, who strived for the legacy of Sanatana Dharma.

Meanwhile, seminars took place under the chair of various eminent women scholars for twelve hours from 8 am till 8 pm. The representatives of Telugu Book of Records and Wonder Book of Records also took part in the fete and observed the event.
