6 held for sale of cinema tickets in black
ACP of Task Force I Chittibabu said on a tip-off, Task Force personnel raided premises of Mohini cinema theatre at Gajuwaka area and apprehended one person while selling the tickets in black.
Visakhapatnam: The City Task Force personnel arrested six persons in two different places for selling tickets of newly released movie `Janata Garage’ in the city on Thursday.
ACP of Task Force I Chittibabu said on a tip-off, Task Force personnel raided premises of Mohini cinema theatre at Gajuwaka area and apprehended one person while selling the tickets in black.
They seized 89 cinema tickets from his possession. Another raid was conducted at Sowjanya-Sukanya theatres of Gopalapatnam area and five persons were arrested. They seized 55 tickets and Rs 3,500 cash from their possession.
The apprehended persons, along with seized tickets, were handed over to Station House Officers of Gajuwaka and Gopalapatnam police stations for further action.
