Tirupati: The TTD-run Sri Padmavathi Women’s Degree and PG College has added one more feather in its cap by entering International Wonder Book of Records and Telugu Book of Records on Thursday with 12-hour non-stop national seminar on ‘Sri Vaishnava Bhakti Tatvam’. The seminar was conducted in the college on Wednesday.

According to college principal Dr Gnanakumari, the representatives of both the record books, who were present in the fete, considered it as a unique one where in over 200 faculty, scholars and about 550 students, exclusively women, from various departments, presented their research papers on Ramayanam, Bharatam, Bhagavatham, Ramanujacharya, Annamacharya and Vengamamba for 12 hours without break from 8 am to 8 pm.

The officials of both the record books complimented the TTD-run women’s college for holding this seminar and enhancing spiritual knowledge among the students.
