Vijayawada: On account of Gansha Chaturdhi, representatives of different organisations here are busy promoting eco-friendly Gansha idols.To sensitise the public, APNGO Association in collaboration with 'Safenviron' distributed clay Gansha idols to the public at Patamata.

Safenviron Chairman Velagapudi Venkateswar Rao said, "Using clay idols will make festival celebrations more prosperous and ensure chemical free environment. Every Gansha pandal in the city should distribute a plant along with an idol." APNGO District president A Vidyasagar, Safenviron Managing Director Velagapudi Vandana and a few other government employees participated in the idol distribution programme.
