Amaravati: The CID police who are probing into Tuni arson questioned former MLA and YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy for the second consecutive day on Wednesday for more than six hours.

However, the YSRCP leaders who suspected that the CID may take Bhumana Karunakara Reddy into custody heaved a sigh of relief. Responding to the notices issued by the CID officials, Bhumana appeared before CID officials for questioning in Guntur city.

Speaking to reporters, Karunakar Reddy alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was using Tuni arson as a weapon to spoil the political future of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and trying to defame him.
