The Minister said that the Chief Minister introduced many reforms and increased transparency in the health department in order to provide best services to the public. 

Ongole: Transport, Roads and Buildings Minister Siddha Raghava Rao said that the government hospitals in the State are providing treatment and other facilities on a par with the private and corporate hospitals. He opened the primary health centre built with a cost of Rs 78.15 lakh at Bandlamudi village in Chimakurthy mandal of Prakasam district on Wednesday.

The Minister said that the Chief Minister introduced many reforms and increased transparency in the health department in order to provide best services to the public.

He said, “Bandlamudi villagers are happy as their dream of having a hospital here is realised now. We are offering diagnostic services free in the government hospitals. We are providing a vehicle to transport the mother and child to the home after delivery.

The State government is spending about Rs 40,000 crore for the welfare and development activities of the public.”Raghava Rao ordered the district medical and health officer Dr Yasmin to see the doctors and medical staff available at the health centres to curb spread of viral diseases in the district.
