2,000 police personnel deployed
As part of security arrangements for the ‘Atma Gaurava Sabha’ in total 2,000 police personnel drawn from Krishna, West, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts will be deployed to beef up security for the meeting. Out of this, 10 officials of the rank of DSP, 50 Circle Inspectors and 100 Sub Inspectors will attend to their duties.
Kakinada: Elaborate arrangements are being made for both security and traffic needs for the meeting of film actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan at JNTU- K grounds here on Friday. The meeting is scheduled to be held for two hours from 4-6 pm at the NFCL road spacious premises of the university.

Under the supervision of Eluru range DIG, P V S Rama Krishna, East Godavari additional SP (admin SP) , A R Damodar inspected the venue of the meet the JNTU- K grounds on Thursday and discussed various aspects connected to the meeting with chief organiser and Jana Sena treasurer, Marisetty Raghavayya who is camping in the city for the last one week to oversee the arrangements.
East Godavari ASP, Damodar told this reporter on Thursday that in view of expected large turnout, special security force is being stationed at all entry points in the city.
In addition to this, the movement of vehicles will also be regularized and parking places will also be provided, he said. The ASP appealed to both Pawan Kalyan fans and Jana Sena activists to extend their co-operation.
