Pawan Kalyan's fan dies at public meeting for special status
Actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan’s public meeting on Friday evening on the issue of special category status led to utter chaos in Kakinada.
Actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan’s public meeting on Friday evening on the issue of special category status led to utter chaos in Kakinada. A large number of people gathered in the ground caused a stampede leading to a death of a 22-year-old. Even though 2,000 people were deployed to control the crowds, several people suffered injuries and four were admitted to the hospital.
While many fans tried to reach out to Pawan Kalyan, several others tried to catch a glimpse of the Jana Sena leader's meeting by climbing nearby buildings and trees. Nandikolla Venkata Ramana of East Godavari district fell while he was scaling a pipe of engineering college building and was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
On coming to know the death of his fan, Pawan Kalyan expressed condolences but stated that he was not able to visit the hospital due to security constraints. The Jana Sena leader, however, added that his fan's death would throughout his life.
