Vijayawada: Eid-ul-Azha is a festival of scarifies and the people of all religions should live in harmony, said Vijayawada West constituency MLA Jaleel Khan.

In a press release here on Tuesday, Jaleel Khan said that it was good sign that people of all religions conveyed wishes with one other on the occasion of the festival in the city. Vijayawada is a model city for communal harmony, he said.

Jaleel Khan conveyed wishes to the people at his office. Local leaders Rampilla Srinivasa Rao, Varakala Joshi, Vemuri Ramesh and others participated in Bakrid celebrations.

Malladi takes part in Eid celebrations
